Library Service Requests & Assistance

Faculty Service Requests & Assistance

MBZUAI faculty have access to a number of services, resources and information support through the library.

Faculty are encouraged to contact the library directly or complete an online form for specific service requests. Please allow for three business day to receive a response for each request submitted.

The following requests should be completed and submitted online.

  2. Textbook Assessment Request
  3. Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery Service Request (coming soon)
  4. Library Workshop Request
  5. New Title Recommendation
  6. Ask a Librarian

Additional support includes the following services and faculty are encouraged to contact the Head of Library Management for more information.

  • Subject & Course Resource Guides: Faculty may request library subject guides to support a specific topic, research tool, or assignment.
  • Copyright and Fair Use Guidance in the Use of the Library's Licensed Materials: Faculty may request guidance on the use or posting of the library's licensed resources on Moodle, including, requesting assistance with posting stable links to electronic resources.
  • Scholarly Communication Support: The library provides information guides and consultations on compiling researcher profiles (ORCID and other A&I profiles), research data management (including code curation), Open Access publication guidance, and Creative Commons licensing.
  • MBZUAI Digital Library Services: The library team manages MBZUAI's institutional repository and  will accept faculty scholarly output deposit. Please see MBZUAI Digital Library Services for more information.
